@LIS2ECLAC @LIS2: Alliance for the Information Society

@LIS2 (Alliance for the Information Society, phase 2) is a European Commission programme which seeks to support the development of a sustainable, competitive, innovative and inclusive information society, and it co-finances three projects: ECLAC @LIS2, RedClara and Regulatel.

ECLAC @LIS2, executed by ECLAC, seeks to continue to promote and, at the same time, to improve and to extend dialogue and experiences regarding the information society in Latin America, strengthening the partnership with Europe on political, technical and social issues. ECLAC @LIS2 focuses as well in increasing the visibility of the information society, as well as making this issue more visible on regional political agendas, channelling more resources to technological research and development and increasing civil society participation in the generation of public policies on ICTs.
