CEPALSTAT | Databases and Statistical Publications

The availability of timely statistical information is indispensable for the analysis of socio-economic and environmental well as for various decision-making processes. ECLAC has been contributing in the dissemination of relevant data in the economic, social and environmental americas America and the Caribbean through various means. While most of the information disseminated is produced by official agencies of countries and international agencies, its presentation systematized and documented for the region as a whole constitutes a contribution to a broad spectrum of users of statistical data.

This page is indeed the gateway to all the statistical information that systematizes ECLAC.

On the one hand, provides access to statistical databases that are kept in different divisions of the Commission. Most of them enables the development of real-time tables combining data from different series and / or countries and / or periods. Each of the variables have associated a description of the sources, as well as definitions and other relevant characteristics of the same.

On the other hand, is accessed through this page to the statistical publications, or statistical annexes of ECLAC publications containing tables prepared with data of various kinds.

It may also consult a set of documents that contain recommendations that international methodological guide for developing much of the statistics compiled on the bases and in publications that are presented on this page. It also found the reference to the classifications of international scope and use more widespread.
