The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) will hold the Conference on Sustainable Development in Latin America and the Caribbean: Follow-up to the development agenda beyond 2015 and Rio+20 in Bógota, Colombia on 7, 8 and 9 of March 2013. The meeting will focus on development goals, global and regional governance and the discussion, from a regional perspective, of agreements adopted in order to inform the ongoing global processes.

It is expected that there will be workshops held on the 6th of March; information regarding these will be posted shortly.

The deadline to register for the conference is Monday, February 18, 2013

In light of space restrictions in the plenary room, access will be limited for observers and accreditation will be granted in chronological order. Nevertheless, the Secretariat will provide the means to follow the meeting remotely (web cast). Civil society organizations will be accredited if they have consultative status with ECOSOC (Economic and Social Council of the United Nations), are included in the contact lists of the Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD / UN), or are actively working on issues in the Latin American and Caribbean region that will be discussed in the meeting.
