ECLAC Subregional Headquarters for the Caribbean supports the economic development and integration of the Caribbean, which are vital elements of the ECLAC mission. Our office is focused on understanding the challenges of the Caribbean through research and analysis and offering technical cooperation to governments in order to help them to improve their economic resilience. Among the areas of interest are analyses of how to build domestic capital, both human and institutional, for sustainable development. As a consequence, the attainment of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) is viewed as a first step in advancing this process. MORE ABOUT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND INTEGRATION |
