The knowledge management programme seeks to strengthen the capacity of the Caribbean sub-region to bridge the digital divide by furthering the establishment of the Caribbean Information Society and advancing the development of the region's knowledge economies. To achieve this objective workshops and meetings are organised, research conducted and advisory services delivered. As part of the programme, information products and services focusing on the Caribbean are developed and made available online. These products include the CKMC Portal providing access to a digital library, development profiles of Caribbean countries and a skills bank. The Library provides access to print and electronic information through an online catalogue and offer assistance to researchers in the form of bibliographic research and current awareness services.
