ECLAC Subregional Headquarters for the Caribbean fulfils the mission of helping to promote Caribbean development. The Office provides statistics services and resources that: provide analysis of policy-related issues; help formulate evidence-based policies and programmes; deliver reliable indicators of progress toward the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and other internationally agreed development goals (IADGs); build the statistical capacity and expertise of Caribbean institutions and Governments; and provide technical assistance.
