(January 2013) Jan Eliasson, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, participated in the 1st Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) and the European Union (EU), which took place in Santiago, Chile, on 26 and 27 January and was attended by representatives from 60 countries.
