ECLAC will participate in the above mentioned meetings which will be hosted by the government of Grenada and coordinated by the CARICOM Secretariat. Their major objective is to listen to the Caribbean Member States and to discuss with them the progress and challenges encountered in delivering statistical outputs which meet the users' needs and which will enhance socio-economic development of the Caribbean subregion. The meetings are held annually and they provide opportunities for development partners and donor agencies to learn about the statistical needs of Member States and to adjust their respective work programmes to address these needs.
