ECLAC and German Government Agree On Cooperation Programme Until 2012

Negotiations on a three-year programme of development cooperation between the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany were held in Berlin from 17 to 18 June 2009. The delegation of ECLAC was headed by Ms Alicia Bárcena, Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC). The German delegation was headed by Ms Dorothee Fiedler, Deputy Director General for Cooperation with Countries and Regions; Planning and Policy; Latin America at the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
