The countries covered by this RECCS are: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia,Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.
| | Resultados / Results / Résultats: | - Facilitate consensus and build upon existing co-operation among policy makers in the region around steps needed to address climate change in South America including, where relevant, the adoption of investment programmes, plans, policies, and/or other actions to mitigate climate change and/or adapt development to expected future climatic conditions.
- Improve understanding of the economics of climate change to enable policy makers in the region to adopt necessary actions.
- Identify where andhow do national and regional development priorities interesect with national climate change policy objectives.
- Align donor operations with the needs of participating countries for addressing climage change problems.
