EMERGENT ISSUES

Applied research, technical assistance and training concerning: a) socio-economic and cultural determinants and consequences of population trends (international migration, adolescent fertility, etc.); b) population policies and population in public policy, emphasizing social and gender equity; and c) policy and program (including those on reproductive health) implications of the socio-demographic behavior of vulnerable groups, paying specific attention women, the aged and the young.
